Deputy Attorney Award
Deputy Yellowstone County attorney Rod Souza is named Montana's outstanding prosecutor of the year. The distinction recognizes excellence in prosecuting domestic violence cases.
Souza says while he's honored by the award, he's not the only one that deserves recognition. "The folks that really do deserve recognition in these types of situations are those victims of sexual violence particularly domestic violence who are able to stand up and break out of that cycle of violence themselves and protect their family."
